Principal's Message

Dear Vista Staff, Students, Parents, and Community Members,

I am very excited and eager to start the 2017/2018 school year. Vista High School is committed to give every student the best education and support in order for them to reach their full potential. Vista is working closely with both Lynwood Adult School, El Camino College, and other local colleges to make the transition towards college and career pathways accessible for all students. We have a great support staff that helps with testing, counseling, financial aid, and college applications throughout the school year.

I look forward to working with parents, guardians, and community members to ensure all students are successful academically, socially, and with their career development. Parents and community are an integral part of our school's success. Let's continue to work together to make Vista a special place for all students.

Vista High School is committed to follow the district's mission to prepare all students for college and career readiness. Staff, counselor, and administration are all here to support every student, family, and community member to achieve this goal.

I am grateful to be Principal at Vista for the 2017-2018 school year. We have a great staff, wonderful students, and supportive parents. I know this is going to be great year. Thank you for supporting Vista on this wonderful journey.

Sincerely,

Gilbert Mireles- Principal
